The cruises in this table are not priced like for like. Some include a bus from Rovaniemi or Oulu, some include lunch on board, and the Axelsvik cruises start at the terminal unless you add the shuttle as an option. The table is sorted by price; the notes below explain the differences.

Why the same ship costs more from Rovaniemi
On the Kemi ships the pickup town is part of the product. A Sampo or Arktis cruise from Rovaniemi or Oulu includes a bus ride of almost two hours each way, so it sits higher in the table than the same cruise from Kemi. From Tornio and Haparanda the price falls in between. For the Axelsvik ships the transfer is chosen as an option on the product page, and the price changes with it.
Child prices
Child prices, where a cruise has them, appear on the product page after you add children. Remember the height rule for the floating: 140 cm on the Kemi ships, 125 cm on the Axelsvik ships.
The extras reviewers mention
In the critical reviews, price is the point raised most often, followed by extras on the day. Professional photos are sold separately by both operators, and on most cruises food is bought on board or at the SnowCastle restaurant. Is lunch included in the icebreaker cruise price?
Only on the Sampo afternoon cruise, including the afternoon cruise from Oulu. On the other cruises lunch is an extra.
Are photos included?
No. Both operators sell professional photos separately.
